GameShare: Play local wireless with another console using one copy—compatible across generations between Switch 2 and the original Switch
GameChat: Built-in voice and optional live video chat using the Switch 2’s microphone or camera
Friend’s Pass and Cross‑play: Invite friends online for free, whether they’re on PC, PS5, Xbox, or Switch 2.
Visuals & Performance:
- Targets 1080p at 30fps in docked mode; handheld mode supports VRR and is smoother
- Some graphical compromises: lower-res textures, occasional shadow flickers, and slight blurring during fast movement
Storage Requirement:
- Approximately 70 GB, which takes up ~25% of the console’s 256 GB internal storage
Controller Needs:
- Requires two Joy‑Con 2s or Pro Controllers for local co-op—a single Joy‑Con isn’t supported.
